I am appealing for help from anybody who is going to be flying from the UK to San Francisco between now and May 15 (or, at a push, May 20)....

Meander: Weather Window To Bermuda
Just when we thought we would launch off to Bermuda, a nasty front came off the coast of the United States which will hit Bermuda and south of it around Monday and Tuesday of next week...just when we would have been coming close. Wind squalls of up to 50 knots isn't our cup of tea. We are getting advice from two weather routers: Chris Parker who does weather in the Carribean and North-West Atlanti...

S/v Living Water: Mexico To El Salvador (Day 2)
We're currently about 50 NM SW of Puerto Madero, Mexico running parallel to the coast in 5 to 7 knots of breeze dead astern of us. We are sailing wing-on-wing at about 3 kts with the s/v Yachtman's Dream about 1 NM off our starboard beam. All is well at 1:00 AM local time Saturday the 10th. No significant change in the weather is expected in the next 24 hours....

CHIQUI\'s ADVENTURES: Bahama Trip Day 43 Friday
Well its Friday and we have had another great day here in Hope Town.Had everyone over for Roses birthday party last night and had a great time.Today we tried to go to the ocean side of the island to snorkle on the reef, but the waves made it to ruff.So we went up to a pool here and had a drink and Brian,Lynn and Rose went in but it was a little to cold for me.The water is getting a little warmer da...

Sail Away With Second Wind..: Surfs Up!
Today wasn't a good day to travel. We woke up to fog, a chilly 58 degrees in the cabin, and a good amount of wind. Also, we have to see if we can repair our engine starter switch, and Windblown has to repair their mainsail. So, we stayed put in San Juanico today to do some of those things and to step foot on dry land for the first time in many days....

Voyage Of The Bahati: NZ Departure Delayed
Wow. Changes, changes, changes... and life goes on......

Adventures On Daydream: Finally A Day Off
You may think that every day is a day off for us, but it is not. We have been moving or running around every day for the past few months. You people have now idea what hard work is. Today we enjoyed a day of "real cruising". We sat on anchor and had a make and mend day. Ralph did some odd jobs around the boat; I organized the head, cleaned out a few cupboards and started to work on our website. ...

Peter And Dorothy On Neva: Hospitality
On our first day here in Bay Avea, we went shore to try to find somewhere to buy bread, and a lady came out of a house on the shore and offered to get us some in the morning. When we went ashore the next day, we were presented not only with the bread, but with 4 shelled coconuts and she refused to take any money; she and her husband (Annie and Terri) just wanted to know about us and our travels....

Vagrant Gipsy: Photo

Sailing Across The Med:
I'm headed off the the Med again. This time it's from Croatia to Spain....

This IS Retirement: In The Sea
I had to leave Puerto Escondido before Loreto-Fest begun. I suppose it is a nice cruiser get together but something I did'nt want to get involved with. It has things like boche ball, chili cookoff, dinghy races, and costume parties.....just what I've been looking for...right. It's run by the Hidden Port Yacht Club, which I'm now a member of. Locals who live there year round...

Wandering The Oceans: A View Down The Amador Causeway
. . . along the water's edge and from Amador Park, which actually includes the causeway, out to what once were two islands. You can see one in the background. Fill from digging the Canal was used to make the causeway which is terrific for bicycling....

Wandering: Another Rainy Day On Cape Cod
We are trying hard to be motivated to the sailing season on Cape Cod. So far, it has been rainy and cold. Intermittant days of sun but not the norm., Soon we will be able to launch the boat to begin our summer sailing season....

The Adventures Of Cee Cee The Sailor Dog: Deltaville, Virginia
My plan for a trip up the ICW from Beaufort to Norfolk was shelved in favor of an offshore passage around Cape Lookout, Cape Hatteras and into the Chesapeake. I would honestly have preferred to stay out and continue to Cape May but the weather wasn't being that cooperative....
